My friend April just started up a new blog. She is running the half marathon with me in Nashville this April....she asked a great question, What would your running reason shirt say? She made a great point...that we all run for different reasons.
I think my reasons for running vary from season to season:
1. last spring's shirt would have said, "Just making it through grad school, first years of marriage, trying to be a great wife and ministry partner, trying to be an amazing teacher...while keeping my sanity."
2. About a month ago it would have said, "Running to pray and deal with the loss of someone we loved."
3. Right now...my shirt would say, "Running to pray through future life decisions."

Mine would say, "Look at the huge dog chasing me!" Well, actually, I have been considering taking you up on this half marathon offer. Not quite sure if it is insanity or what. When I first read your sweet comment, I laughed. Then, the more I thought about it yesterday, the more I wondered if I could do it. I said all of that to say this, I would like for you to send me the info, when possible. It will be good for me to set a goal!
