Country Music 1/2 Marathon...here we go...Again.

half marathon training starts again. Starting the week of Thanksgiving so that I'm thinking about my eating habits a little more while being surrounded by 5 different types of casseroles, sweet potatoes ,and fried turkey:)

Trying to convince a few friends to join me this year....not sure if they are buying in....we will see:)

Here are a few reasons I'm looking forward to this year's training:
1. I love long, Saturday runs in the morning
2. Best shape I've ever been in (I guess running 10-11 miles will do that!:)
3. It's my mission to find the best Mexican restaurants in Atlanta when I start running. For some reason last year I always craved Mexican food after my long 9-10 mile runs. Brett and I started visiting some of the best Mexican places around the Atl. Can't wait for my long runs and Mexican.
4. I love pushing myself beyond myself....if that makes sense.

New moon Finale:)

New Moon is over. No more posts...for a while. Eclipse doesn't make its appearance until June 30th. Here are some pics from our New moon week....lots and lots of lines and crowds. Had the best time.

Disclaimer: this might be the lamest video you've ever seen...but my friend Sarah and I went down to the mall of Georgia to get a sneak at an upclose view of Laurent and Caius who are starring in New Moon.....well Sarah and I and 500 screaming teenage girls. There's really no sense in continuing to type...I will let the video tell the rest. Not sure you should expect too many more of these, but we had fun:)

One more disclaimer: I look rough....no makeup, hair pulled back in a random headband...oh well:)

the downpours and the deserts...

Lately I feel like God has been teaching me so much......I always feel open to Him and the things He wants to teach me...but as of late it's like a waterfall.....and it's all I can do to keep up and soak it all in. I appreciate the things I am learning and that He has been patient with me....but the thing that was so dumbfounding with all of it was that I apparently was in a desert???....and didn't realize it until the downpour came.....does that make sense? Not sure, but hoping to be a sponge right now. Thankful for the downpours and the deserts.
